I came across this item on WhattheCool today. A blog that I have just started following. We’ll see how it goes. But that’s another story.
My first thought when I saw this item was: why? I am still trying to think of an answer but all I can come up with is this guy discovered that he could make some kind of synthetic fabric that closely resembled pita bread and wondered to himself “how can I capitalize on this remarkable scientific breakthrough”.
Hand made of fine cotton fabric and colorful elastic webbing.
Apart from the pita bread replica concept I kind of like the idea. It’s a convenient and compact way to store your implements. And the zipper or catch or whatever won’t break because there isn’t one. It looks like and old-school emergency medical kit that you might see in the movies.
But I don’t need something that reminds me of food in the classroom, office or wherever. If I were a cleaner and I saw it lying out, I might just chuck it in the trash. Especially if it has been out for two days in a row.

You can pick a pita bread pencil case up for US$29.90 (+ shipping). There are only 60 left. Although I am sure that if they are popular they might bake up a few more. I don’t think you need worry though.
