I probably could have just posted the headline $1,875 Belt Buckle and left it at that and I think most people would understand what I’m saying. Just to emphasize the point though, I am going to stick it in big letters just below here.
$1,875 Belt Buckle
I hope that it is clear that $1,875 is the price of the belt buckle. You don’t get a belt with that. So you are paying $1,875 for something to hold your trousers up but you still need something else to provide the actual support.
It’s not gold or platinum. I guess that would be much more expensive. It is silver, .925 Solid Sterling Silver to be precise. I don’t really know what that means. It’s still a lot of money for a belt buckle as far as I am concerned.
I’ll admit that it is a nice buckle. It is well designed and I’m sure a lot of cowboys would be happy to wear it to attract attention to their tight Levi 501s or whatever expensive jeans brand wealthy don’t really know what to do with their money dudes wear.
OK. I have been slightly misleading here. This buckle is actually for the ladies so I guess it could be seen as something akin to jewelry and we all know that much more is regularly spend on jewelry. But it is still just a belt buckle. Something used along with a leather strap to hold your pants up.
And another thing that I noticed was the use of Christian iconography? Wouldn’t any good Christian know how to better spend $1,875? Jesus Christ! Anyway, if you have money to burn and a spare leather strap lying around you can head on over to Cowboy Cool.
